Who is LifeTime Home Solutions Ltd.?

A part of the Precision Health Group of companies, LifeTime Home Solutions was established to embody the government changes known as The Remedy. The Province is changing their approach to providing care supports for those with disabilities. This means so are we! With a new commitment to a new model and funding to support this new model of care, we are all moving toward community based, supportive living, directed by the individual.

This means that our former operation of Colonial Community Services which operated Residential Care Facilities will be closing. We are actively working with our partner organization, the Department of Opportunities & Social Development to relocate our existing residents to supported community living over the coming year ahead, with LifeTime being the new company model that aligns with The Remedy.

The Remedy is a five-year, legally binding agreement that guides government’s work to transform the disability support system in Nova Scotia. For more information, please visit the Nova Scotia Transforming Support website.

We provide support to individuals with intellectual and/or physical disabilities, and mental illness in the HRM and surrounding communities.

The choice is yours. You can choose to enjoy life on your own or share your space with a friend or two.

You can live in any community within Nova Scotia of your choosing. We will support you in finding your new home.

The cost of our services depends on the type and hours of support that you need to live independently or semi-independently. We can create a support plan with you that meets your needs. As a participant with the Individualized Funding or the ILS Program, you will have the ability to pay us directly from the funds you receive from the Disability Support Program.

Yes we are. LifeTime Home Solutions Ltd. has recently been approved as a Service Provider under the new legal ruling of The Remedy.

Absolutely yes! LifeTime Home Solutions Ltd. is an approved Service Provider under the Department of Opportunities and Social Development. We will work with you to tailor an individual plan that supports you.
