From our roots in a small Nova Scotian community to a province-wide provider of trusted home care, LifeTime Home Solutions has always been about people first. Read on to learn how our journey began — and where we’re headed.
Introducing Lifetime Home Solutions
Formerly known as Colonial Community Services and Colonial Homes, our organization was founded in 1984 by a dedicated Nova Scotian family with a simple mission: to provide compassionate care through thoughtfully acquired homes and personalized support.
Over the years, we expanded our services to include respite care and specialized housing for children on the autism spectrum. In 2009, we began offering Independent Living Supports (ILS), tailoring care to meet the unique needs of each individual we serve.
In 2012, we joined forces with Precision Health Group Ltd.—an exciting step that brought new resources, while keeping our heart and purpose intact. Key members of the founding family remain deeply involved, ensuring our values continue to guide our work.
Today, we’re proud to reintroduce ourselves as LifeTime Home Solutions.
